This is a tasty and easy chutmey made with pecans, garlic, and red chilies. This is best with idlies and dosa. This is also a tasty dip for veggies and chips.
This is prepared very similar to peanut chutney, which is a classic one. Any nuts can be made into chutney. This pecan chutney tastes addictively delicious. This is one of the chutney that disappears very quickly in our home. I love this as a dip with carrots and sweet peppers for a healthy snack or snack style meal.
Nut based chutneys are very healthy too. Essential vitamins are available in nuts and chutneys are a great way if you have picky eaters. This chutney is a favorite one in the family next to peanuts in the nut based chutney category. This is utterly delicious with idlies.
November is National Georgia Pecan Month and Wendy is hodting an event and we are sharing pecan recipes. The tasty pecans are versatile and are great for nibbling as well as in desserts. I am sharing this chutney for the event. Also, linking this to Full Plate Thursday and Thursday Favorite Things. I have used Milican Pecans and these are the best pecans.
