Air Fryer Buffalo Paneer Bites

This is the easiest and tastiest snack or appetizer that you can ever wonder about! This air fryer recipe is so easy. The creamy paneer with tasty spicy and tangy buffalo sauce makes one of a kind of snack, either for your family, or for a game night party. This is a crowd pleaser too!

These paneer bites are

  • SO DELICIOUS!
  • This is an easy recipe.
  • Made in an airfryer and takes less time.
  • Few ingredients required, but exponential flavors
  • Since no frying needed, this is healthier too. Less oil is used.

What is Buffalo sauce?

Buffalo sauce is an authentic sauce with smoky, fiery, and tangy flavors from cayenne and vinegar. This signature flavor is quite addictive if you love spicy food. This sauce can be used in many recipes and adds ultimate flavors, like this Vegan Baby Buffalo Potatoes. Frank’s Red Hot Sauce is used in this recipe, and added butter and honey, a little bit, to mellow the heat, and this makes it perfect to serve for kids too.

Why Paneer?

Paneer is a creamy, semi-soft Indian cheese that is simply delicious. It pairs well with many flavor combinations, The flavors of its combo with buffalo sauce would reverberate in your tongue forever! The scintillating flavors give the ultimate flavor experience. Board onto this train and enjoy a delicious journey.

What are the ingredients required to make?

Paneer - A good quality paneer without any potato starch or xanthan gum gives the best flavors. Homemade paneer is great to use.

All-purpose flour - To coat the paneer

Corn starch - adds to the crispness

Oil - A little amount to give flavor. Neutral flavored oils work great.

Red hot sauce - this recipe used Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, a sour-spicy sauce perfect for the classic flavors.

Salt - Adds flavor

Cayenne - Amps up the heat. Add as per your taste preference.

Water - to make the batter

Butter - A little bit to make the buffalo sauce. This tones down the heat.

Honey - A little honey to bring the heat down.

How long to air fry?

The cooking time may vary slightly based on the capacity of the air fryer. I have an Instant Pot airfryer, and food cooks faster than other air fryers by 1-3 minutes, comparatively. After about 6 minutes, keep an eye to adjust according to your air fryer.

Points to note:

Do not over crowd while placing the air fryer bin or shelf. It is important to give enough space between them for better and crisp results.

For this quantity, you may need to do it in multiple batches, depending on the air fryer size. But it is still easy to make.

While airfrying in multiple shelves, the top ones get cooked faster than the lower shelf. Add a couple more minutes for the lower shelf.

I highly recommend using a liner so that cleaning up is easier.

Scaling up and down:

This recipe can easily be scaled up and down. But air fry them in multiple batches for best results. This is a tasty and easy recipe that would be loved by everyone. So you might want to consider doubling or tripling even if you make it for your family. If making this buffalo paneer for a crowd, this will be a huge hit, and make in multiple batches on site, as this is simply amazing and would steal everyone’s heart as well as tummy. Kids would love it too, adjust the sauce as per their liking.

When making for a bigger crowd, air fry the paneer pieces. Coat with buffalo sauce just before serving.

What can this be served with?

Serve with a blue cheese sauce, ranch dressing, or extra Buffalo sauce. This is simply heavenly.

What is the spice level for these paneer bites?

This is spicy! This recipe uses buffalo sauce and cayenne in the batter, the air-fried paneer cubes and drenched in the buffalo sauce, and served with extra sauce for dipping. If you are a spice lover, this will be a divine experience. The spice level can be lowered by reducing the sauce level, if you can’t handle or if you are making it for young kids.
